We are seeking a talented Backend Product Engineering Tech Lead to oversee our backend engineering efforts, including managing the Web team. This is not a full-stack role, but requires leading a full-stack team. The role requires strong engineering skills and care for the product to collaborate closely with the Product team while also driving significant product decisions.

Lead and manage the development of core backend systems, including:

• Edge Services: Product Backend, Notification Server, Authentication Server.
• Smart Contract Sync: Ensuring consistency between smart contract data and our databases.
• Native wallet enhancement: Work on optimising the performance of our wallet
• Testing: Enhance quality by adding unit/regression tests

Oversee functional projects such as:

• KYC processes for onboarding.
• Marketing and rewards build.
• Development and maintenance of internal portals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Web/Mobile engineering teams, to ensure cohesive product development and implementation.
• Strengthen GRVT’s authentication technology stack by working closely with the Head of Security to enhance security features like multi-factor authentication (MFA), WebAuthn, and secure session management.
